SUNWAXTM

Outdoor Furniture Wax

  • Prevents drying, cracking and deterioration
  • Maintains the natural beauty and depth of grain
  • Easy to apply, gel-like consistency
  • Polishes outdoor furniture to a soft luster and protects with a coating of natural waxes
  • Does not contain silicone or linseed oil

Sunwax is specially designed to keep teak and other tropical hardwood furniture from cracking, drying and oxidizing due to exposure to sun, temperature variations or moisture. Sunwax combines UV inhibitors along with a unique blend of carnauba wax, beeswax and orange oil to enhance the natural beauty and depth of grain in outdoor wood furniture. This distinctly blended product effectively penetrates and replenishes natural oils. Sunwax should be used regularly, or whenever outdoor furniture looks faded of dry. Sunwax is the ideal addition for any retailer selling outdoor furniture, furniture supplies or maintenance products.

SUNWAX compared to Teak Oil:

Teak oil is usually either linseed oil or tung oil, bolstered by resins to make them more durable. Proprietary teak oils often have various additives, including pigments, UV filters, and mildew retardants. Close-up of wax protection

SUNWAX penetrates the wood with natural orange oil and mineral oil. It does not contain linseed oil, tung oil or silicone oil. SUNWAX utilizes natural beeswax and carnauba wax along with a UV inhibitor to help the penetrating oils last longer and to enhance the beauty of the wood. It does not contain any stains or resins.

SUNWAX may be used over stain and it can be removed from the wood using a teak cleaner - more easily than teak oil containing linseed or tung oil. If it gets on fiberglass (as with boats) it will not harm it or stain it - unlike some teak oils - and it can be cleaned with soap and water or basic boat cleaner.

Wood Care Products

also Copper & Brass Polish and Silver Polish
NEW!!! Now offering Butcher Block Conditioner and Leather Conditioning Cream

"As a 32 year veteran of working with wood, over the years I have experimented with a number of products.
As a result, I am proud to offer you the following wood care, leather and metal polishing products which I personally use on my wood creations at the studio, as well as at my home on my furniture, doors, cabinets and wood sculpture. I first came across Feed-N-Wax in the late 70's and have been using it on my natural art pieces ever since. The natural Paste Wax is excellent for applying a protective finish on a variety of surfaces beyond wood. I use the Wood & Upholstery Soap to clean restoration projects, cabinets, and furniture, then I use the Orange Oil as an occasional protective coating.  When I have a restoration which has been scratched or the surface has been marred, I am usually able to restore the items finish with Restor-A-Finish. Using the Burnishing Cream followed by the and Polishing Compound is a great way to restore the shine of a dull finish before without having to resort to sanding, stripping the original finish and then matching the color which can be very time consuming.

The resent items to my offering are an added plus.  The Butcher Block Conditioner can be used on butcher block counter tops, cutting boards and all your wooden bowls which will come in contact with food products.  The Leather Conditioning Cream is excellent I use it water proofing leather boots and conditioning leather items such as baseball mitts and leather furniture.

Howard now offers SunWax, an exterior wax which has UV inhibitors in it and it combines a blend of carnauba wax, beeswax and orange oil.  I am presently doing some testing on this product on my vigas and portal post and if it meets my test, I may be offering it to my line of wood care products.

For your fine metals I offer Howard's Silver Polish and Copper & Brass Polish.
